Blogging Backwards

Well Hello there! I feel so current, we actually have the Internet again. So lucky for all of my many adoring fans out there, I may just be back in the blogging biznatch bidnis! Oh, there is none of you left out there? Never was to begin with? My bad. I will still do it anyway for any of you blog hopping bunny's out there that are adoring fans of other blogs that may or may not lead you to mine! I feel like there is so much that I need to catch you all up on and just simply not enough time. So we will make this more like a PowerPoint presentation & just highlight the main events (not only do I feel current, I feel a wee bit professional)....

*We are currently in the process of putting in our adoption papers, hence the reason that we got the Internet again. Stressed out wouldn't even come close to describing how I am feeling about the whole process. But we are just starting out on our "Adoption Journey" & I feel like this whole getting/having another baby thing is going to pay off sometime & that I definitely am being taught a lesson in patience. I, so far only know the beginning of this part of my story & I know that when I see the other parts unfold & come together however & whenever they are supposed to, I will look back & realize that "Oh, that's why!" & I will hopefully be better because of it all. I am looking forward to that, & to be completely honest with ya, that's what keeps me going most of the time with this "I know there is another child out there meant to be in our family" thing. This may sound sappy, but it is honestly how I feel & I am just putting it out there... How can you miss someone sooo much that you have never even met? I'll leave it at that.

*Jaden, our oldest, is getting baptised tomorrow & I can't hardly believe it! I mean I remember the day I was baptised like it was yesterday & now he gets baptised tomorrow. Am I really that old? I mean I did have him when I was 10 years old (Ahem...) & everything, but really, time is a funny thing. I am so proud of him & all of the choices he is making!

*As the previous post mentioned, I started dance back up & I am loving it! There are moments when I am in the middle of teaching a class & I look around at the girls & I just get a huge grin on my face. It's like I am seeing a glimpse of a dream that I had a million times as a little girl growing up & having my own studio, & yet it's not just a dream anymore, it's real life & it makes my heart giggle with delight!

*Camren, our youngest, has pretty much grown out of his "girlie" stage. I don't know exactly what triggered the loss of interest in high heels & everything that sparkles. But either way, I think that it is a good thing. Whatever makes him happy, if that ended up being lip gloss & tiara's then so be it. People don't get all uppity when little girls like to play with soccer balls & get their clothes all muddy, so I didn't get too uppity about his likes. And I think in part by me letting him have his "princess time" he kind of did it & then moved onto not really wanting "princess time", and naturally wanting to play more "boy stuff", according to him. Now, don't get me wrong, I still see him getting a little jealous of the My Little Pony stickers that I give to my dancers. But I think that it just gives him more character & he's going to be one heck of a ladies man when he grows up because he will be more in touch with his sensitive side. Not a bad thing.

*Mike & I celebrated our 9th Anniversary on December 28th & it was so fun because 2 days later on the 30th my brother Spencer got married to his sweetie Tiffany in the SLC Temple (same temple as me & Mike had 9 years earlier). It was awesome to be there & watch them get sealed & reminisce back on our own wedding day. And I have just loved having a new sister in law! Tiffany already has added so much to the Jackman family!

Well, I do believe that that will be all for now. I'll be back on this time sooner rather than later! :)

I'm so excited to see your blog again, since I never get to see you anymore in person. Can't wait to read more about your family, I'm definitely a fan, but not quite a blog stalker.
